DENTISTS:
Dr Mohammad Ryan Farman – DDS, MClinDent (Sheffield), MFDS, MRD (RCS Edinburgh)
Ryan qualified in 2001 and thereafter spent three years in a General Dental Practice. He worked in Hospital Dental Services as a Senior House Officer and Staff Grade in Paediatrics and Restorative Dentistry during which he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He then undertook a four-year part-time specialist training program in Periodontics at the University of Sheffield. This culminated in a Master of Clinical Dentistry from the University of Sheffield and Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. He is a member of British Society of Periodontology and European Federation of Periodontology. He has also been a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Sheffield before moving to Brighton. He is committed to excellence in patient care, and providing successful treatment outcomes in a kind, gentle, and caring environment. Outside of dentistry, Ryan enjoys all sports especially football (he supports Man U), he also enjoys music and likes playing Spanish guitar. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his young family.
Dr Sarah Aliakbar – BDS (Sheffield)
After graduating from Metropolitan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science in 2004, Sarah studied dentistry at the University of Sheffield.
Sarah qualified as a dentist in 2010 from University of Sheffield and since then she has worked in general dental practice.
Although Sarah enjoys all aspects of dentistry she has a special interest in pediatrics. She is very caring and skillful in the dental management of children and nervous adults.
She enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. Sarah enjoys listening to music and spending time with her young family.
Dr Jagtar Dhanda – Consultant Oral Surgeon

Jag is both medically and dentally qualified and works as a Consultant Specialist in Maxillofacial/ Head and Neck Surgery with an interest in free flap reconstruction following head and neck cancer surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. He has completed basic surgical training, higher surgical training, and an advanced reconstructive fellowship and is one of the highest trained implant surgeons in the UK. He mentors and tutors dental surgeons in both surgical and restorative perspectives of implant dentistry. He has been placing and restoring implants for over 15 years without a single complaint to date with treatment ranging from single and multiple teeth to full arch and complex bone grafting as well as zygomatic implants. He offers both a mentoring and referral service in the South East including treatment under general anesthesia.
Dr Sara Khandan
Sara earned her dental degree in 2019 from the University of Debrecen in Hungary as the highest in her class, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
She is a firm believer in preventative care, minimally invasive dental treatments and educating patients on maintaining good oral hygiene. Sara is committed to providing comprehensive and gentle dental care for patients of all ages and is passionate about smile makeovers.
She has a great relationship with nervous patients and is dedicated to creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for every visit.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with family.

Mahan Mohaghegh
Mahan earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Debrecen in Hungary in 2018 where he built a strong foundation in advanced dental techniques and patient-centered care.
Mahan is particularly passionate about cosmetic dentistry, offering treatments such as composite bonding and Invisalign to help patients achieve confident, natural-looking smiles. He also has a growing interest in dental implantology, continually expanding his skills to provide comprehensive solutions for tooth replacement and smile restoration.
Known for his calm, friendly demeanor, Mahan excels in putting even the most anxious patients at ease. His warm and approachable style helps foster a relaxing atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
In addition to English , Mahan can speak Hungarian and Farsi, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient base. Outside the dental office, he enjoys working out at the gym, playing and watching football, and spending time with his family and friends.

Lauren Phillips
Lauren graduated as a dental hygienist and therapist from the University of Birmingham. She is passionate about helping patients in as many ways as possible. Outside of work Lauren loves to exercise, including the gym, walking, climbing and pilates. She also enjoys reading with a good cup of tea!
