DENTISTS:
Dr Mohammad Ryan Farman – DDS, MClinDent (Sheffield), MFDS, MRD (RCS Edinburgh)
Ryan qualified in 2001 and thereafter spent three years in a General Dental Practice. He worked in Hospital Dental Services as a Senior House Officer and Staff Grade in Paediatrics and Restorative Dentistry during which he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He then undertook a four-year part-time specialist training program in Periodontics at the University of Sheffield. This culminated in a Master of Clinical Dentistry from the University of Sheffield and Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. He is a member of British Society of Periodontology and European Federation of Periodontology. He has also been a Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Sheffield before moving to Brighton. He is committed to excellence in patient care, and providing successful treatment outcomes in a kind, gentle, and caring environment. Outside of dentistry, Ryan enjoys all sports especially football (he supports Man U), he also enjoys music and likes playing Spanish guitar. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his young family.
Dr Sarah Aliakbar – BDS (Sheffield)
After graduating from Metropolitan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science in 2004, Sarah studied dentistry at the University of Sheffield.
Sarah qualified as a dentist in 2010 from University of Sheffield and since then she has worked in general dental practice.
Although Sarah enjoys all aspects of dentistry she has a special interest in pediatrics. She is very caring and skillful in the dental management of children and nervous adults.
She enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. Sarah enjoys listening to music and spending time with her young family.
Dr Jagtar Dhanda – Consultant Oral Surgeon

Jag is both medically and dentally qualified and works as a Consultant Specialist in Maxillofacial/ Head and Neck Surgery with an interest in free flap reconstruction following head and neck cancer surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. He has completed basic surgical training, higher surgical training, and an advanced reconstructive fellowship and is one of the highest trained implant surgeons in the UK. He mentors and tutors dental surgeons in both surgical and restorative perspectives of implant dentistry. He has been placing and restoring implants for over 15 years without a single complaint to date with treatment ranging from single and multiple teeth to full arch and complex bone grafting as well as zygomatic implants. He offers both a mentoring and referral service in the South East including treatment under general anesthesia.
Dr. Sara-Jane Salman
Hi my name is Dr Sara-Jane Salman I qualified from Sheffield University in 2009.
I have an interest in transforming smiles with fixed and removable braces. Treatment time can be as quick as 3 months. I use two methods:
- Quick straight teeth a fixed brace with tooth-coloured ceramic attachments and wires.
- Invisalign a series of clear removal gum shields.

Marzieh Zarei
Marzie is a qualified dental hygienist from Teesside University, Middlesbrough. She splits her professional time between several dental practices and loves to help people to improve their oral health. She regularly attends various dental training courses and exhibitions to keep her knowledge and skills up to date. She settled in Brighton with her husband in 2013 and in her free time she loves to spend time with her family, paint, travel, and read books.
